Luke 12:4-5

"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him."
Luke 12:4-5

So the first thing I thought of to do was get the definition of amabasador. I thought you used it quite a bit and it would be cool to have a little definition =)

1.A diplomatic official of the highest rank appointed and accredited as representative in residence by one government or sovereign to another, usually for a specific length of time.
2.A diplomatic official heading his or her country's permanent mission to certain international organizations, such as the United Nations. (PSH, OR THE GOSPEL!!)
3.An authorized MESSENGER or REPRESENTATIVE. (i like that one)
4.An unofficial representative: ambassadors of goodwill. (yeah thats right, they said goodwill!)

**Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2**
so what better way to prove we are faithful than to spread His 'goodwill' and be His 'messengers' and 'representatives'!!??

so yeah sorry its taken me so long to get back on this! I wanted to make sure it was good cause what you said was sooo good =) I really do have to agree with everything you said, besides the whole fear thing which I loved, i liked when you said:
"So when we are making our decisions, it is easy for us to make the right ones when we remember where our loyalty lies and then we can determine what is pleasing to God and thus make the right decision."
I think a lot of christians forget this. They think of what will satisfy them at the moment and sometimes it could be helpful to our faith at the time, but in the long run it wasn't the best decision. Sometimes us Christians don't hear Gods little whisper of the right thing to do, so we make a fleeting decision. I think it is so important for us to remember 'where our loyalty is'.

Galations 1:10 says:
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

There is another REALLY good verse referring to the same thing but I couldn't remember it, so if you do remember, tell me what it is!!

runnin late, hope ya like this! God bless =)

oh and also, when i said this: "I really do have to agree with everything you said, besides the whole fear thing which I loved, i liked when you sai...etc etc..."

i didnt punctuate it right ahah i dodnt mean i liked everything besides 'this', i just should have started a new sentence cause it was supposed to be like, "besides the whole fear thing which i loved, my favorite thing was..etc etc.." haha not that i didnt like it.

I totally agree Joshua! I would want to save something even when it gets heated and not give up. I would want to fix things (well I'm workin on not trying to be a fixer for everybodys problems haha) but..I would want to ask God to help me work things out rather than giving up. I guess thats my personality showing up =) !

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life."

Psalms 139: 23-24

I really reallaaah like this verse =) It's like...okay God...I don't see a lot of things because you are an insanely large amount more awesome than I so show me what I gotta fix! Haha. Then we see issues in our lives we see personality flaws that can be fixed and some that don't need to be. This verse really says it, I mean it is so much easier when we humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord asking Him to reveal things about us, to then fix those things, rather than trying to do it on our own or listening to what other people say and think. It really stinks how hard it is for some people to be able to hear constructive criticism, they don't want to stop ten minutes and be able to realize, hey I could be doing something slightly wrong here! I feel so much more open and free and not to mention ten times closer to God when I ask Him to how me things in my life that 'offend Him' like the verse says.
